A classic design, Engineered Garments reinterpret the Painter Trouser. Constructed from a lightweight 8oz cotton, these trousers sport a classic workwear wide leg for an effortless and comfortable fit. The front features a double knee for some extra reinforcement and the hammer loops throughout are ideal for easy storage. The inside of the waistband and hems of the legs feature drawstrings, allowing you to alter the fit as desired.

How to Wash
Step 1

When you’re ready to wash your jeans, button the fly and turn them inside out. Doing up the fly ensures the jeans maintain their shape, and turning them inside out avoids unwanted marks from the washing machine drum on the indigo.

Step 2

Place the jeans in your washing machine with neutral detergent, and set them on a non/low-spin wash at cold–20 degrees for raw, or up to 30 degrees for pre-washed. High spin may cause unwanted 'lightning fades', and washing too hot can cause excess shrinkage, so it’s important to follow these steps carefully!

Step 3

Once your jeans are done washing, hang them somewhere safe and allow them to air dry. Putting your jeans in a tumble dryer has a high chance of degrading the fabric and misshaping your jeans. Make sure wherever you hang them has proper drainage, as you’ll be expecting some indigo runoff.

How to measure

Lay the front and back waistband flat and together. Take a measurement across the entire width of the waistband and double it for the full waist size.
